Nick Campbell - ThinkIndie Warehouse Manager
A friend of mine turned me on to this band the other day, and I’m not sure where it comes from other than Brooklyn. However, I can see them making a splash in the near future. Their debut album fits with the sounds of contemporaries like Black Marble and Lust for Youth – (almost) club-ready synth-pop with hints of post-punk. At one point, I felt a bit like I was listening to Matt Berninger of The National fronting Future Islands. Dig it.
