Yesterday was one of the most anticipated days in indie retail, the RSD 2022 list launch…and it’s a good one!

This year also marks the return of Record Store Day. This year we should all be able to start to get back to celebrating our stores and music communities as was intended when we created this day, and celebrate we should, as this year marks the 15th Anniversary of Record Store Day!

Speaking of celebrating record stores, if you haven’t gotten a chance to check out the “Behind the Counter” series you really should. We have been lucky to have many of our CIMS stores featured, and this series gives some great insight into just what inspired many of these stores to exist and what keeps them going. Check it out and you can enjoy a virtual tour of some of the best stores across the country!

This is one of those bands that I have loved since the beginning. I have seen them on every tour and they are just one of those bands I know I can count on because they never disappoint and I just feel like “they get me.”

I am such a fan of their atmosphere and the best way I can describe it is the dream worlds that Victoria and Alex create. That is turned up to 11 with Once Twice Melody and I think this one just may be their Magnum Opus. Well done BH. Looking forward to the final chapter tomorrow!
