Hey Everyone,

I want to give a shout out to Haim (and Columbia Records) for topping our charts this week with Women in Music Pt. III- They have really outdone themselves with this one. I have loved this band from the first note, so I am particularly happy to see this album in our number one spots this week. Haim has mastered the art of creating “Songs for the Summer” and some of these seem to be tailor-made for THIS summer in particular ("I Know Alone").

My Current Fave: "3 AM"

I’ve been diving into a lot of ambient and electronic music while walking around my neighborhood during this Time of Great Uncertainty – Cavern of Anti-Matter’s *In Fabric* OST, Emeralds, Steve Hauschildt, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. It’s not super-distracting music or designed for fast-paced activity, so ideal for walking. Julianna Barwick’s fifth album fits this pattern perfectly – shimmering, drifting, and blissful. She collaborates on several tracks with harpist Mary Lattimore, Sigur Ros alum Jonsi, and beat-oriented electronic artist Nosaj Thing. It’s a short ride at 33 minutes, but effectively dreamy for a sundown trot about town.
