CIMS WEEKLY CHART: WEEK ENDING 4/2/20

Hi everyone,

Not a lot to report this week, just busy in the moment and getting through it. Please don’t forget to support your local record store any way you can; they need your love more than ever right now. Lots of stores still doing curbside, online and delivery.

Rob Halford gets it!

Here is the list update for this week: https://recordstoreday.com/Page/9509

We lost an icon this week. Lots of our friends out there are hurting and many have found comfort in the musical legacy he left behind. Strangely enough, with all the amazing music that John Prine has made in his storied career, I’ve found myself finding comfort in the arms of his last record, The Tree Of Forgiveness. As much as I liked it while he was living, his death has given the album new meaning to me. The world is going to miss Prine. Not just the artist, but the man even more.
